Flibanserin (Addyi) Product and Availability Guide
Flibanserin is the active ingredient in Addyi, a U.S. prescription medicine marketed by Sprout Pharmaceuticals. The current U.S. product is a 100 mg film-coated tablet. A product search should therefore separate the active-ingredient name from the branded product and rely on the current product label rather than seller descriptions.
Flibanserin and Addyi
The current DailyMed label lists Addyi as flibanserin tablets for oral use, with initial U.S. approval in 2015 and a December 2025 labeling update. It identifies Sprout Pharmaceuticals as the packager and lists NDCs 58604-214-03 and 58604-214-30.
The current indication is acquired, generalized hypoactive sexual desire disorder in women younger than 65 when the condition causes marked distress or interpersonal difficulty and is not attributable to another medical or psychiatric condition, relationship problems or the effects of another medicine or drug substance. The label does not indicate Addyi for men or as a sexual-performance enhancer.
Current Product, Strength and Form
The currently labeled U.S. product is a 100 mg oral tablet. For product identification, check the Addyi brand name, flibanserin ingredient name, strength, manufacturer/packager, NDC and prescription label. Those identifiers are more reliable than an old product image or seller description.
Prescription and FDA Status
Addyi is a prescription product marketed under a New Drug Application. The current label includes a boxed warning for hypotension and syncope in certain settings. It also identifies important interaction and contraindication issues, including alcohol consumed close in time to the medicine, moderate or strong CYP3A4 inhibitors and hepatic impairment.
Those label points matter when a prescription is being reviewed, but this page does not provide individualized treatment or dosing instructions.
Availability and Access
A current FDA label does not guarantee that a particular pharmacy has Addyi in stock on a particular day. Access may depend on the prescription, wholesaler supply, insurance coverage and the pharmacy’s ordering process.
Before asking about availability, provide the exact product name, active ingredient, 100 mg strength and prescription information. If the question concerns a different flibanserin product or a package from another country, that product’s status should be checked separately.
Price Context
There is no durable single retail price suitable for this reference page. Cash price, insurance coverage, manufacturer programs and pharmacy acquisition cost can change. A useful comparison should match the same product, quantity and coverage status. This page does not state a current Paulsen’s Pharmacy price or stock position.
Questions to Check Before Filling
- Is the product Addyi or another flibanserin-labeled medicine?
- Does the package show 100 mg tablets and current U.S. labeling?
- Is the prescription current?
- Are there interaction or contraindication questions that require pharmacist or prescriber review?
- Does a price quote refer to the same quantity and insurance status?
